Mentorship / Verified attorneys / Structured requests
Embra Mentors makes it simple for law students to learn directly from practicing attorneys and for attorneys to give back on their own terms.
How mentorship works
Search verified attorney mentors by practice area, firm type, and background.
Send a short, structured request describing what you want to talk about.
Attorneys choose which requests to accept, then meet for a focused conversation.
The student process
Tell mentors about your goals, interests, school, and questions.
Browse attorneys who have chosen to mentor and still have capacity.
Explain why you selected them and what you hope to learn.
Once accepted, follow Embra's guided mentorship process.

Trust layer
Core student access is free and mentor participation is free. Before an attorney mentor can accept requests, our team reviews their application and confirms their bar admission against their state bar's public directory.
Become a founding mentorAttorneys see who is reaching out, what they need, and why they want to talk now.
Published expectations guide professional conduct on both sides.
Caps on outbound requests keep the directory from becoming a spam channel.
Either side can report or block when a boundary is crossed.
